1. PAST FUTURE TENSE

Past Future Tense digunakan untuk menyatakan peristiwa yang AKAN dilakukan, TETAPI di masa lampau, bukan saat ini.

Rumus Past Future Tense

Positif: S + would + V1

Negatif: S + would + not + V1

Tanya:  Would + S + V1

Contoh kalimat

Positif              : You would work …

Negatif                        : You would not work …

Tanya              : Would You work …?

2. PAST FUTURE CONTINUOUS TENSE

Rumus Past Future Continuous Tense

Positif: S + would + be + Ving

Negatif: S + would + not + be + Ving

Tanya: Would + S + be + Ving

Contoh kalimat

Positif              : You would be working …

Negatif                        : You would not be working …

Tanya              : Would You be working …?

3.PAST FUTURE PERFECT TENSE

Rumus Past Future Perfect Tense

Positif: S + would + have + V3

Negatif: S + would + not + have + V3

Tanya: Would + S + have + V3

Contoh kalimat

Positif              : You would have worked

Negatif                        : You would not have worked …

Tanya              : Would You have worked …?

4. PAST FUTURE CONTINUOUS TENSE

Past Future Perfect Continuous Tense adalah untuk menyatakan hal diatas juga, tetapi dimasa yang lalu, masa lampau. Past Future Perfect Continuous Tense mengenai peristiwa atau hal yang akan telah sedang terjadi di masa lampau.

Rumus Past Future Perfect Continuous Tense

Positif: S + would + have + been + Ving

Negatif: S + would + not + have + been + Ving

Tanya: Would + S + have + been + Ving

Contoh kalimat

Positif              : I would have been swimming for 30 minutes When You called me yesterday.

Negatif                        : I would not have been swimming for 30 minutes

Tanya              : Would You have been swimming for 30 minutes?

C. FUTURE  TENSE

1. FUTURE TENSE

Future Tense atau Simple Future digunakan untuk menyatakan peristiwa yang Akan Terjadi. Future tense adalah tentang Nanti. Sesuatu arti katanya Future yaitu “Masa Depan”. Karena itu dalam Future Tense penggunaan kata Will, Shall yang artinya akan pastilah mendominasi.

Rumus Future Tense

Positif: S + will + V1

Negatif: S + will + not + V1

Tanya: Will + S + V1

Contoh kalimat

Positif              : I will study

Negatif                        : I will not study

Tanya              : Will You study?

2. FUTURE CONTINUOUS TENSE

Tense yang satu ini berbicara tentang suatu peristiwa yang “Sedang Terjadi” juga sebagaimana Present Continuous Tense, tetapi bedanya dalam Future Continuous Tense maka “Sedang” nya itu bukan sekarang melainkan besok, akan datang, nanti.

Rumus Future Continuous Tense

Positif: S + will + be + Ving

Negatif: S + will not + be + Ving

Tanya: Will + S + be + Ving

Contoh kalimat

Positif              : You will be working

Negatif                        : You will not be working

Tanya              : Will You be working …? 

 

3. FUTURE PERFECT TENSE

Future Perfect Tense digunakan untuk menyatakan sesuatu yang “Sudah terjadi, tetapi AKAN”

Rumus Future Perfect Tense

Positif: S + will + have + V3

Negatif: S + will + not + have + V3

Tanya: Will + S + have + V3

Contoh kalimat

Positif              : You will have worked …

Negatif                        : You will not have worked …

Tanya              : Will You have worked …

4. FUTURE PERFECT CONTINUOUS TENSE

Future Perfect Continuous Tense digunakan untuk menyatakan peristiwa yang: akan, telah dan masih berlangung di masa datang

Rumus Future Perfect Continuous Tense

Positif: S + will + have + been + Ving

Negatif: S + will + not + have + been + Ving

Tanya: Will + S + have + been + Ving

Positif              : You will have been working …

1. SIMPLE PAST TENSE

Inti dari Past Tense adalah untuk menyatakan peristiwa yang telah “Lampau”. Lampau disini tak harus sudah lama-lama amat juga, pokoknya sudah berlalu, sudah lewat.

Rumus Past Tense:

Positif: S + V2

Negatif: S + did not + V1

Tanya: Did + S + V1

Contoh kalimat           :

Positif              : I saw her standing there

Negatif                        : I did not see her standing there

Tanya              : did i see he standing there ?

2. PAST CONTINUOUS TENSE

Past Continuous Tense digunakan untuk menyatakan peristiwa yang SEDANG TERJADI juga, tetapi sedang terjadi sekarang, melainkan sedang terjadi tetapi DULU, tetapi sudah lewat.

Rumus Past Continuous Tense

Positif: S + was/were + Ving

Negatif: S + was/were + NOT + Ving

Tanya: Was/Were + S + Ving

Contoh kalimat

Positif              : I was writing

Negatif                        : I was NOT writing

Tanya              : Was I writing ….?

3. PAST PERFECT TENSE

Positif: S + had + V3

Negatif: S + had + not + V3

Tanya: Had + S + V3

Positif              : I had studied hard but I didn’t make good result in the exam.

Negatif                        : I had not studied hard, so I didn’t make good result in the exam.
